Ardwolf A20 - A Popular Product in Smart Door Lock Industry

Ardwolf A20 smart door lock has proved to be a highly popular lock since its release in 2016. It wins over its competitors with wonderful design and powerful functions. Today, we will walk you through the design, features and functions of this much loved electronic door lock.

Design:

Ardwolf A20 is a core product manufactured by Ardwolf which specializes in developing smart doors. Though it is not waterproof, its stainless steel finish exhibits excellent corrosion resistance. The weather-proof door lock has a simple interface with a high-sesitivity touch screen of 8-grade touch sensitivity and. The handle is only right-handed or left handed.

 

Operations

Unlocking Methods:

The digital door lock allows 3 means of entry. Users can unlock with either a fingerprint, a password or a mechanical key.

Fingerprint: The door lock supports up to 100 fingerprints. It just takes 1.5 seconds to unlock the door with fingerprint. The sensor is capable of detecting the static electricity on your finger and thus any false hand or false fingerprint will not be recognized.

Code: It has a ramdon password protection which allows you to enter a ramdon code before or behind the correct password, giving you extra security.

Key: When the door lock is out of battery, you could use the mechanical key to unlock it. Please note that you shall insert the key into the keyhole and rotate 180 degrees, then press down the handle to open the door.

 

How to Check Log Data

Ardwolf A20 is able to store up to 6000 code or fingerprint log records. To check the data, please follow the steps below:

  1. Download the CP210x_VCP_Windows file (lock assistant) on Ardwolf official website.
  2. Connect the smart lock to PC with a USB cable and open the lock assistant you have downloaded.
  3. 5 types of data will be displayed in the window: log No., ID, Regtype, Date and Time. You can select and delete user in this window too.

 

Note: If you have another Ardwolf A20 and users are the same with those of the other one, you could export the user data from the door lock with the lock assistant and import the data into the other A20 without programming it one by one manually on the door lock itself.

 

How to Add & Delete Users

Please open the plate on the back to add and delete users.

To add normal users:

  1. Press “+”key and select ID number by “+” “-” key or input the ID number directly on the touch screen, then press “OK”
  2. Fingerprint register: press fingerprint on the sensor twice

         Code register: input code twice

  1. It will display ID number after register is sucessful

To add administrator user:

  1. Press and hold “+”key for 3 seconds and select ID number by “+”, “-”key or input the ID number directly (default is 96) on the touch screen, then press “OK” button.
  2. Fingerprint register: press fingerprint on the sensor twice

          Code register: input code twice

  1. It will display ID number after register is successful 

To delete normal users:

Press “-” key and choose the way to delete by “+” “-” key.

FP: To delete user by pressing finger, swiping card or inputing code, then press “Ok”.

Al: To delete all users. Select and press “OK”.

01: To delete User by ID number. Select ID number by “+” “-” key or input the ID number directly, then press “OK”, 

To delete normal users:

  1. Press “-”key and choose the way to delete by “+” “-”
  2. Input the authorization of the administrator user to enter register state.
  3. Choose the way to delete by “+”“-”key.

FP: To delete user by pressing finger, swiping card or inputing code, then press “Ok”.

Al: To delete all users. Select and press “OK”.

01: To delete User by ID number. Select ID number by “+” “-” key or input the ID number directly, then press “OK”,
